I
was born on the east coast of the United States where I learned guitar as
a teenager and have now been playing guitar for over 30 years.
I love all forms of guitar music and enjoy playing classical, rock, pop,
folk, grunge, punk, metal, alternative, blues, acoustic flatpicking and
fingerstyle and bass.
I
wrote "INFINITE GUITAR, Mastering Scales and Modes" in 1993 and
first published the book in 1994. I first taught my unique method
later in 1994 at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE and since then I have
taught hundreds of students on the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia
during the past 15 years.
In October 2009, my wife and I moved to Victoria where I continue to teach
private students in my comfortable home studio.
Over the years I have played in various bands and most recently performed
weekly with my acoustic duo DON'T PANIC at the Thumm Winery on the Gold
Coast.
In 1995 I wrote and recorded the
soundtrack for the short film "The Aftermath".
I truly enjoy performing but my real passion is teaching and I thoroughly
enjoy watching the progress of my students.
Please phone me if you would like to book a lesson or have a question
about tuition or other aspects of guitar playing.
